Moderator Role and Responsibilities:
Fairness: Moderators must execute their duties fairly, consistently, and without personal bias toward any user or viewpoint.
Content Enforcement: Enforce the Code of Conduct and Content Guidelines by deleting, editing, or moving posts.
Community Building: Act as positive role models, initiate high-quality discussions, and help new users navigate the forum.
Standards of Conduct:
Transparency (Internal): Moderation actions should be logged and communicated internally to the admin team.
Public Decorum: Moderators must maintain professional and respectful behavior in all public interactions, even when dealing with hostile users.
No Abuse of Power: The position must never be used to settle personal disputes, harass users, or favor specific groups.
User Appeals and Feedback:
Process: Users who wish to appeal a moderation decision (e.g., a deletion or suspension) must submit their concern privately via the Feedback & Ideas section (marked as "Private to Admin").
Public Appeals: Publicly challenging moderation decisions in discussion threads is prohibited and may lead to post deletion.
